It is really near everything. It's near a lot of delicious restaurants like shawerma, falafel (Arabien foods), shops, and there are two bus stations, one is near the Hotel and the other is in musrara. I went to the other station, got into the bus to Beit jalla (Bethlehem), which number is 231. Furthermore, the hotel or at the musrara...

Lovely hotel with friendly staff situated close to the gates of the old city. Plenty shops and restaurants around. The breakfast served was just what I needed after a tough 10 days in the old city. Definitely one of the best hotels to stay at in Jerusalem.

Love love love Golden Walls! I've stayed there now 3 times. Puts you right across from Damascus Gate to the Old City. Walk 10 minutes to West Jerusalem. Staff is Palestinian hospitality at it's finest. We lost 2 pillows when housekeeping accidentally had them cleaned...they went out of their way and searched the entire property and returned them both within...

Great hotel, great location just outside the walls of the city. Many food stalls and local shops close by. Friendly and obliging staff. Good central heating. Rooms were quite small but had all amenities. Highly recommended!

The location is the best thing about Golden Walls Hotel. It is right smack by the Damascus Gate which in one of the entrances to the old city. The rooms are not fancy, - clean -, and the one I stayed in was quite spacious with a modern bathroom with shower. The food was also fair. We had breakfast and...

The outside of The Golden Walls is very non-assuming, but do not let this fool you. Inside this you will find a large spacious lobby with amply seating for a mid-day coffee. Sadly the lovely outdoor patio was closed due to the cold weather. Nevertheless the patio offers a great view of the city’s and the great old city walls....

An amazing location across the street from the Damascus Gate -- in 5 minutes you are in the Old City. This is an older facility is perhaps a little tired. Our room was renovated and well appointed. The restaurant is excellent. The desk, restaurant, support staff are simply outstanding in their effort to make your experience a good one. While...

I chose this hotel based on that it is pet friendly and the location. The hotel is very clean and friendly. The rooms are a good size. The hotel is pretty quite: The most excellent part is the garden tomb is directly behind the hotel and it is a skip and jump from the Damascus Gate. The location is perfect...
