We were upgraded to the Deluxe Suite which was by far the nicest room my family and I have ever stayed at. the huge private balcony was the best part of it all. A very special hotel at a special location

wow. My first time Israel and Jerusalem. Here for business and what a place to stay. The decor , the feel, the view, the proximity to the Old City Center and all the ancient sights is perfect. You can walk up hill to the city centre or take a cab. The food and service I s great. What a breakfast...

Our second stay in this magical hotel. The tiled and ceramic decor blends into the ancient feel of the city while the amenities are perfectly up to date. The rooms are spacious. The view from our room was the Mount of Olives and the Old City. The breakfast buffet is amazing and huge- try the mini hot cheesecakes! The staff...

We left another hotel because it was terrible and came to Mount Zion hoping it would be better. Well it exceeded our expectations! The staff was very helpful and pleasant, the room was lovely and very clean, the views of the Old City from the hotel are spectacular, the breakfast was delicious, etc. We would definitely stay there again! Thank...

We visited and reviewed the Mt. Zion hotel in the Summer of 2013. In January 2015, we visited the Mt. Zion hotel again. The Mt. Zion is out "go to" hotel for superior accommodations, great service and convenient location. The hotel remains a stunning example of late 19th century architecture and is impeccable in its maintenance and cleanliness. The front...

I arrived in the evening. The room that I was given, although beautifully appointed, lacked a view. It actually was a view of an ugly brick wall. Reading the other reviews and knowing the area a bit, I was dissappointed as I was hoping for a nicer view. In the morning, I got in contact with the manager who changed...

If you want a hotel with character and near the Old City, the Mount Zion is hard to beat. The hotel is quaint with Moroccan/Middle Eastern decor; the rooms are large and the bathrooms most comfortable and well appointed. Loved the stone basins and the tiled floors. We chose a room overlooking Mt Zion, facing the Old City. The room...

Thank you for your review and for taking the time to write one. We were pleased to read that you enjoyed the style of our hotel, the rooms and the location but wonder what happened with the hammam/massage that you would not like a repetition.

We spent two nights at the Mount Zion Hotel. The view from the room was superb! We walked to the Old City. The closest gate of the Old City is the Zion Gate but we needed to climb up steeply. It was easier to enter the Old City from the Jaffa Gate. The breakfast was satisfactoly.

The location of this hotel is fantastic--you can easily walk to the new Tachanah, Emek Refaim, Mamilla, the Old City and the center of the city is a little further but not that far away. The views of the old city are delightful, and the Cinemateque is next door for both films and food. I enjoyed the rooms--they are kind...

My family hosted a weekend Bar Mitzvah at the Mount Zion Hotel in mid-December and it was the most incredible experience ever! The hotel itself was magnificent and our suite was huge and fit for a king, with beautifully decorated rooms in Moroccan and middle eastern style. We held 3 events in the hotel over the course of the weekend...
