We loved the lobby and the rooms. It is really close to the Old City so you can walk to most attractions. Since it was cold with a lot of snow, we ended up having dinner there most nights and would definetely recommend the food, especially the Jerusalem Platter.

This hotel has to have one of the absolute best views of the Old City of Jerusalem and especially Mt Zion. The location is unique, the traffic in front of the hotel can be challenging, the parking is difficult if you are self parking but the staff, the view and the atmosphere are outstanding. The property could do better with...

This beautiful hotel has great character. It is unlike any other hotel in its class and has a very special, warm feeling when you are staying there. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Jerusalem. The food is superb and in summer the pool area a great place to relax after a day of touring around.

Everyone was very nice and the location was great. We enjoyed our stay. The bathroom was a little chilly because there were no heat vents and the shower could have used a larger curtain or door - but otherwise it was a nice hotel and we are going back again in a couple of months for another family trip.

I've booked Mount Zion Hotel directly from their web-site. On arriving me and my family were really surprised by very beautiful hotel design, convenient location (close to old Jerusalem) and view. In the room we found the "compliment" from the hotel – bottle of local red vine (superb!!!) and big plate with delicious fruits. Room was quit big and comfortable,...

I was told this hotel got a "face lift", Yeah,,,not so much. Carpets were sticky, and the walls were stained. I was disgusted by the attempts of management to explain the fact that it's run down as, "it's not a modern hotel". The decor is a cross between a dorm room and a youth hostel. Although breakfast was included, I...

It is clear from your review that we did not meet your expectations and for this we are sorry. However, we generally acknowledge and apologize when we have erred and your claim that we would explain that the hotel was not modern as an excuse for not being up to standard is clearly a misunderstanding. We do ask, however, why,...

This is a first rate hotel close to the Old City. Walking distance to many things that will be interesting to the tourist and business visitor alike. Very helpful staff, fluent in multiple languages. Frequent taxis for local transportation. Rooms are clean, modern, and nicely appointed. If you're feeling culture shock in the chaos of Jerusalem, you will find this...

We have stayed at the Mount Zion many times - it is our hotel of choice when visiting Jerusalem. It is well located for visiting the Old City (which can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot) but is also convenient for accessing other parts of Jerusalem. The views from almost every point in the hotel towards the walls...

The hotel is within walking distance of the old city, has clean rooms, friendly staff, and free parking across the street. The mount of olives can be seen in the distance. The Cinematique restaurant is close by. It has good food and is open on shabbat, which is a plus. I have stayed at this hotel twice and recommend it.
