Above average hotel with a nice lobby and bar. It was sometimes hard to get an elevator during morning and dinner hours. The desk was not very helpful with requests. The rooms are very small with 2 twin beds, tea pot, and refrigerator. The dinner buffets had lots of salads and 2 or 3 meat choices. The food was average... More

Jerusalem Gate Hotel is walking distance to the new Conference Center and much cheaper than the slightly closer Crowne Plaza. You can enter through a mall and take a tunnel under Yafo street to your conference. It is also semi-walking distance (about 30-40 min, 1-2 miles) to downtown, the Yehuda Mehane market and the old city, which is important on... More

That place ia nice hotel. The lobby gives you feel luxury but its not really like that. The rooms is ok, with good breakfast. The location is terrible. Nearly the central station of Jerusalem. All day you can hear sound of buses. More than that, there is nothing in the hotel's area, except of buses.

The hotel staff would not honour the booking we made with Gala hotels which they say was arranged by 'Tourico' -( a name unfamiliar to us, the customer) although we showed them the receipt from Gala Hotels to prove our purchase. They stated Gala Hotels had not booked the suite for which we had proof of purchase. We had also... More

Despite the nice lobby, the bathrooms in this hotel are awful. The shower was scalding hot with barely any cold water to complement it. The toilet paper was scarce and rough, and was not ever replaced over the 3 night stay. Bed sheets also had stains on them. Food was good in the hotel restaurant, but the poor room experience... We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our Topdeck tour. Having stayed in Egypt this was a refreshing change! The hotel is very smart with a large foyer and plenty of rooms. The rooms themselves were small but had everything you needed. The beds were big and comfortable, there was a fridge and good air conditioning. The bathroom... More

I do not recommend this hotel for many reasons. The first reason is the rooms do not have bed sheets. I am serious. The rooms don't have bed sheets. Secondly, my toilet seats aren't attached to the seat. I have been going to the bathroom with the toilet seat unconnected to the toilet. Thirdly, the hotel management is extremely grumpy,... More
