Paulushaus has been a great experience for me. Had a great view on the Damascus gate which leads to the old city. Personell was really friendly and helpfull and the building itself has a serene atmosphere. It captures the feeling of Jeruzalem somehow..

This place is very close to the Arab quarter of the old city of Jerusalem. You just have to cross a road and then you are where at the centre of Arab city life. The place itself offers spacious rooms, friendly personell and great breakfasts. In the evening no choice of meals but what was offered was delicious. What we...

The rooms were large, and extremely beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, and the service in general was very friendly. The Guest House is very close to the Damascus gate (and thus to the old centre). There is truly no better place to stay.

Staying at the Paulushaus was a wonderful experience which I'll never forget. It's a beautiful building with a historical/religious atmosphere, and situated right in front of Damascus gate (try to book a room looking out to the gate!). Especially the rooftop view over the old city is amazing. Personel is nice and helpfull as well, rooms are clean and breakfast...

The house is very clean, with big rooms, without tele but in ebery room you have a phone. In the ground floor there are rooms for meetings, a tv-room and also a facility to be online/internet. Friendly staff. From the...

Paulushaus, which served before as a religious house for sisters, has been renewed to serve as a guesthouse for pilgrims and tourists coming to the Holy Land. For someone, who does not want unnecessary lodging expenses, it is ideal. It has retained the discipline of silence and order in the house, typical of a religious house in order to foster...

Nice rooms, nice people, very nice view! The situation of the building is perfect. It is a former monastery, very nice building, very nice staff. The rooms are big. Free internet, nice lounge. Good hospitality. Trusting people. Just take something from the fridge and write it on your name.

We toured Paulushaus Guesthouse and this will be our first choice of places to stay on our next visit to Jerusalem. What made it unique was the combination of being at the Old City but also offering a peaceful environment. * It is very clean - the cleanest spot we saw and an attractive & well maintained building * They...
