Hotel is basic, food also basic, but plenty of it. They cannot cater for food allergies or intolerances. More to point, asked where I could get stamps from, he said give me the money and I will post them. He LIED, did not post a single one, some were messages to self. Might not seem much but to me were...

You go for this hotel if you want to be really near to the Old City and don't want to pay too much. It isn't going to win any prizes for style, but the breakfast is quite good as are the evening buffets. You are just across the road from the Old City and the Garden Tomb is an easy...

This is a budget hotel with no fancy frills. It is a simple family run hotel which is clean, safe and in an excellent location just outside the old city walls, close to Herod and Damascus Gates. We stayed on a half-board basis and the breakfast was standard buffet breakfast with cereals, fruit, salads, cold meats, cheese, pitta, boiled eggs,...

If you're a hotel brand lover or after a 5* grand experience this is not for you. It is however a personable, family run hotel in a great location to explore the sights, with easy access to the new areas too. We also took a tram from here to Yad Vashem, Israel's official memorial to the victims of the Holocaust.The...

I've stayed in this hotel at least 10 times over 5 years. Its probably the best pick for budget hotels close to Old City. Its simple but clean, and hotel staff is friendly, helpful and speaks good English.

I stayed at this hotel in a twin room for 4 nights. We didn't arrive until 1 am and we were in a group of ~40, but check in was efficient and they had laid on an excellent hot meal for us. The room was adequate, nothing fancy but the beds were comfortable. The television didn't have any English channels,...

52 of us stayed here for 5 days. We all agreed that the rooms were very clean and spacious. Decoration was plain but it was probably only a colourful duvet cover away from looking good. The food was fresh and plenty, with the Hassan and his staff being friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the street was filthy and off putting but...

The hotel is awful, filthy and in a location surrounded by street vendors. The staff and manager are rude, never been qualified or study hospitality. The room chamber doesn't know how to make the bed. He only covers the bed, leave it the way it is. He never ever change the sheets. This hotel needs woman and not men who...

Hotel is exceptionally close to the Herod's Gate entrance into Al Aqsa. Conveniently located and gives you a sense of Palestinian life. Great service from the owner and his son. Good restaurants within 200m walking distance from the hotel. Hotel is basic but great value for money. Close to money exchangers and local supermarkets
