We stayed here with a small tour group from the US. I had not been to Jerusalem before but felt safe here. The hotel has a modern lobby and restaurant but also has the vibe of a British James Bond feel. Our room was OK but had a funky damp smell the whole time. But I will take that for... More

Great hotel in a great location. The hotel was always spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious enough with a good bed and again spotless, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was nice with lots of choice but service here for teas/coffee etc could be slow at times. The restaurant on the top floor was... More

We didn't stay in the hotel but ate in their garden restaurant. The Arab style dishes were very good but European style dishes were bland. They have a long wine list but don't seem to stock any of the wines on it!

We stayed there for one night and the location is great, close to damascus gate. The breakfast was ok, but we ate dinner there on the fifth floor and it was really good. The room was ok, the bathroom was small. The biggest downside to the hotel was that me and my boyfriend couldn't go down to the pool area... More

We stayed two nights at the Legacy. The price was reasonable and a good value. Our room was perfect for a couple. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. The Old City and Light Rail (to West Jerusalem) and a short walk away. The staff were excellent and accommodating. Nadine was particularly helpful when helping us to select a tour suitable to our... Good location and good value. Positives: two good restaurants. Located 5 min walk from Damascus Gate to Old City and 3 mins from light rail. Minuses: perfunctory maid service; no charm - rather stark. Plusses outweigh the minuses. We would not hesitate to return.

The positive reviews and the advertised pictures of the rooms confuse me. My room is so small I had to move the desk chair into the hallway so I could open my suitcase. The bathroom is so small I turned on the shower and got most of the room wet. The restaurant was only average. Needless to say, I am... More

Along with a splendid location,it offers an amazing view of Jerusalem. The food is good, friendly staff and very noticeable form the main street. Also safe and has good rooms. The cafe right outside the hotel is also a good place for lunch.

We have dined at the Legacy many times in the past and been fortunate to experience the marvellous views from the dining room and bar area. However we had never stayed in the hotel before. We stayed for 5 nights leaving today. To be brief, the pluses: Marvellous dining room views - enjoy your breakfast and dinner with 'rooftop' views... More
