We went on a religious tour with a group of 11 and stayed at the holy land hotel. It's a lovely hotel a coupe of minutes walk from the Herods gate which takes you into the city. We went for breakfast and dinner. The food was ok, however I found it to be a little bland for my liking. Smuggle... More

Stayed here for eight nights almost a year ago. It was clean, convenient, safe and totally perfect for us. The room had a little balcony from which we could dry laundry. I loved to hear the calls from the mosques at night and in the early mornings. We took walks in the early mornings and at night into the Old... More

This was a really nice hotel with lovely kind staff . There was a wide variety of food available and it was freshly prepared. Our room was clean and comfortable with a little verandah and a view of Herod's gate and temple mount. The hotel felt safe and secure as entry is by a gate which is manned at all... More

Overall, it was a mediocre hotel in a great location. The location is very good. Pros.... Very nice staff. The workers try to be as helpful as possible. Overall, I would recommend it. But again, if you're a light sleeper, it might not be a good hotel. The location is terrific because it is across the street from all the... More

This hotel is nice and clean, daily room service provided by cleaners and fresh lining and towels provided. Room size satisfactory, small fridge and kettle also provided. Wifi temperamental at time but is available for free in hotel rooms. Restaurant food is buffy style, lacks spices and flavours but is edible and enough choices provided. If you like bland food... This hotel was clean, safe and newly renovated. The price was reasonable for the area and these nice accommodations. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. We had 2 rooms, as I was traveling with my father and husband. Both had balconies with unencumbered views of the Holy City and Dome of the Rock (beautiful), as the hotel is literally... More

We had a confirmed booking at another hotel but they overbooked so informed us on arrival that they had booked us into the Holy Land Hotel. The staff a rude and unhelpful. We asked if they could book us a taxi to the airport and were told to wait. So we found our own taxi!!! The rooms are very basic... More

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the location is perfect, and the price is right. My room was clean and comfortable with a fabulous shower I wish I could take home with me. I definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel is simple, but nice. The rooms are small, but have all the amenities. The food is good, and the lobby is large and comfortable. It is a five minute walk to the city walls, only 10 minute walk to the Damascus gate. There is parking available at the hotel. The one potential negative is that it is located... More

Located very close to Herod's Gate, the hotel is a great startingpoint to discover the Old City of Jerusalem. Our room was spacious, very clean, and quite big balcony with view on the golden Dome of the Rock. (It had a safe, water boiler, coffee and tea as well). The bathroom was very comfortable, clean and well-lit. The buffet-breakfast was... More
