It was a good hostel. Clean, comfortable beds, there was a smallish kitchen, good location, staff were helpful etc. But I can't for the life of me work out why it was so expensive comparative to other hostels in Israel as it was not in any way better.

The hostel was very clean and accommodating, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the location was great. Close to good night life in the German quarter with a great view and proximity to the Bahai Gardens and the port and train station. Overall great experience, would definitely come again!

Practical nice place...it´s a good base to discover the city and the small garden is nice to relax. Furtermore I have no comment, 200 characters are simply to much if one just wants to give a glimpse.

Good location near rail station in slightly gritty neighbourhood that contains unobtrusive gems like Jacko's lunch-only fish restaurant. Private room was fine. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was really good, and the coffee excellent.

Can NOT say enough positive about this place. We stayed 4 nights. It is in a convenient location with access to transportation. We had a car and they offered off-street parking! The staff was professional; offering loads of information on check-in about where to go, how to get there, etc. The place was clean. Our room was cleaned each day;...

The location was convenient being a short walk from the central station. The staff were friendly and helpful and the the hostel is clean with nice common areas. It has a friendly, sociable atmosphere but is not a 'party hostel' with loud music and a bar etc. My only advice is that they could install lockers in the dorms. Everything...

I only spent one night in Port Inn, but the hostel is easy to reach by bus/train and near to the tram station Paris Square. There are also some restaurants around. They have a lovely small garden, a nice lounge where it is easy to get in touch with other travellers. Guests were mixed young/old, there is free coffee and...

We have stayed at Port Inn in Haifa several times over the past few years and love the friendly staff, lovely breakfast and super location. So easy to walk to/from train station. Last time I stayed with my daughter they upgraded us to the 2 bedroom apartment across the street that is also part of their operation. Had a wonderful...

This was the perfect place for me to stay while in Haifa. It's just two minutes from the train station and also the bottom stop of the metro that takes you to the top of mount Carmel. It's about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the German colony with all it's restaurants and there are plenty of other good...

Driving from Amman, Jordan to Israel was easy and it didn't take us long. Somehow our GPS didn't work there so we got lost a couple of times looking for our reserved accommodation at Port Inn.We found the people in Israel tremendously friendly and helpful. A man we asked from a convenient store led us the way to find our...
