Stayed two nights at the very cosy Port Inn. The staff are incredibly friendly & welcoming. They gave us recommendations for places to check out in Haifa & we also asked for advice on transport options during the shabbat. Breakfast is great too. Definitely check out this hostel if you're in Haifa!

Our group of a dozen people loved the diverse, delicious, and hearty breakfast. We stayed in the double and triple rooms, which were clean, fairly spacious, and had great hot showers. Beds were comfortable. Port Inn has a very convenient location, just a few minutes walk from the Haifa-Center train station, and within convenient walking distance of the Ben Gurion...

Charisma. A simple but clean and very well kept place. Old hippies and young backpackers mingling with nosy people like us trying out new experiences that go beyond standard hotels. The breakfast is just great. The owner cooks it herself. Try the egg salad!

In this family owned place you get a lot for the money you spent: clean rooms, not very big but you are in old town, perfectly clean, very good breakfast and always coffee and the available. The owner family always helps you whenever you have a question. The entire staff is perfectly trained. I will book next time again in...

The Inn is a beautiful place in downtown Haifa. It's nice and cozy with a great garden outside. Has a kitchen for the guests where you can cook. Close to the train. Great breakfast, very clean, very nice people. Good for travelers, couples and families.

This small family run hostel with a big heart is excellent value for money and a great base to explore Haifa for a few days. This isnt a posh b&b or hotel but in return for going "back to basics" on room decor, you receive a geniune experience. Super friendly staff, always helpful, nice cozy common living room with tv,...

Pros: Location near the train station. Great breakfast (not included in room rate). Cons: Really bad bunk beds (couldn't sit up straight in the lower one) and mattresses (worn out, sagged in the middle). Compared to the other hostels I stayed at in Israel, it was poor value for your money.

Good choice to stay in Haifa- clean and well designed. A little away from the German street but can walk to most sights Very secure and clean. Nice staff and a bistro feeling out back On a busy street during the day -some local bars nearby for food/drinks.

For a one night stay the Port Inn was just what I wanted. The location and price drove my decision. I am an obvious mid to late 50 year old and no one gave me a second glance. Matter of fact the first guest I met was a 29 year old from Pittsburgh and we started talking about who we...
