I stayed at this hotel for the 10th time since 1988 in November 2009. I love the location and the view, and the staff continues to be extremely helpful. Tzipi gets special note, but Idan and Yonav were great as well. That's a major plus. Breakfast continues to be just fine, and the view from that balcony, and from many...

We did not have a room with a view, and it was adequate. Helpful staff. The room looked like it had been sealed off in 1975 and just reopened for us. TV didn't work. Rooms don't lock unless you deadbolt them. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. Location is beautiful. If you drive, park your car in one of the...

Driving a car means that Friday night will be challenging before you find a space to park near by. Aside from that, this modest hotel of 31 rooms is a delight and a value. Breakfast offered more than I cared to sample, and the staff was consistently cheerful and eager to help.

The Dan Gardens is very dated, the furniture in the rooms are from the 50's, and the carpeting was stained in many places. We had a superior room with a bay view, I would hate to see the standard rooms. There is not much of a lobby, there are 2 chairs and a small table all facing the desk clerk,...

We recently spent a night at the Dan Gardens in Haifa. We took the train into Haifa then a 20 minute cab uphill to the hotel. The area is good, near restaurants and other hotels- we certainly felt safe. We got a bay view room and the extra cost was worth it. You look out your window and see Haifa...

This is my second time at the Dan Gardens. I love its location in Haifa - with a staggering view of the city and harbour right out to Akko. It is easy walking distance to Carmel Centre with shops and restaurants and a Carmelit tube station. Parking is not too bad on street around the hotel though you may need...

First the postives - beautiful view from the hotel. Location close to Carmel with restaurants, grocery stores and transit. Negative - Hotel is well worn and the cleanliness could improve. When we checked into our room, the TV had about an inch of dust and the room could have used an all over cleaning. Breakfast okay only - they ran...

The view out the window is impressive. The room was comfortable. We really enjoyed Haifa and wish we stayed an extra day -- don't overlook the city. We found parking to be a real hassle -- it's all on the street and a couple of times we got the last available spot. The Bahai gardens and the subway are easy...

Fine hotel at a reasonable price with a million dollar view (if you get a waterview room). Friendly staff. Central location. The rooms were fine with good baths. The breakfast buffet was okay but nothing special. There is no way to enter this hotel without going up about thirty steps. So keep that in mind for elderly travelers. The view...

I liked to stay at Dans Gardens Hotel. The big problem was the long stairs we had to go up with heavy luggage. We liked the breakfast and the crew was lovely.

“The rooms without View are cheaper, but they offer a view of the wall. It is good enough if all you intend to do is sleep in the hotel as these rooms are quitere than the ones that face the bay.”
