The area surrounding Eilat is geologically fascinating especially the park of Timmna. The Harei Eilat, or Eilat Mountains have red and brown colors, some areas seem yellow. Led by the charming Didier and Hannah from Midbar Trekking, this 4-hour jeep tour provided education about the geological and geographical region spanning four countries in a small area. Probably the cheapest mainstream hotel in Eilat. Situated near a side entrance to the bus station and not far from the airport. The beach is a brisk ten minute walk away, mainly downhill.
