After lots of time hiking and working outdoors, the Dereli is a great place to come for a comfortable bed, a hot shower, and a wonderful meal! The rooms are fairly basic but always extremely clean, comfortable, and lovely ('basic', in this case, is certainly not dreary or depressing--quite the opposite). The showers are great (and always very hot), and...

If you are in a budget and if you want to use the hotel as a base for touring the area in a daily basis, this hotel is the right choice. If you have rented a car, Ephesus ruins, Selcuk and Kusadasi, are minutes away from the hotel. On the other hand if you don't mind to spend a full...

Still peaceful, beautiful, on the beach, absolutely fabulous and cheap at the price. Second time I have stayed here in July. A perfect base for exploring Ephesus and the surrounding area. Rooms are simple but very comfortable, have a fridge, and lead on to the long quiet beach. Great swimming. No aircon in rooms but very effective free standing fans are...

Basic clean room. This place is old but comfortable and I wouldn't change it. Best position on this beach as other more upmarket hotels are located in areas which appear polluted. The restaurant is fantastic with large range of Mezze and meats at very good prices. Good day and night at the beach.

Location is perfect (rooms have terraces on the beach), and although the accomodation is very basic, it was a great place to wind down in before we headed for home. It's about 5km away from Ephesus and about an hour's drive to Izmir airport. The restaurant here deserves special mention though. It looks like a typical Turkish beach restaurant with...

Peaceful, beautiful, on the beach & absolutely fabulous. Cheap at the price. Rooms are simple but very comfortable, have a fridge, and lead on to the long quiet beach. Great swimming. Nice and cool in the heat of July. An easy & cheap minibus taxi ride to Ephesus or into Kusadasi or Selcuk. There is a great restaurant with a...

My stay was for six nights and oh boy just what I needed. A comfy bed, quiet and peaceful area steps from the beach and many historical places without crowds or families! 15 minutes from Kusadasi (which has a good night life) and about 4 minutes from Ephesus. If you are looking for WiFi to post all your vacation pictures,...

This brings to mind the Florida Keys the way it used to be. A really peaceful, unpretentious, lovely laid back setting, run with quiet efficiency, very simple rooms with individual porches opening out on the beach. Nice touch to give beach pillows as well as sun bed mattresses with each unit. No need to bring beach towels. Breakfast is delicious,...

We (couple with small child) recently stayed for a week. The beach by the hotel has lovely sand and the water was very suitable for a small child to play in. In the distance one could see all-inclusive tower hotels on the outskirts of Kusadasi to remind us of what a lovely spot we were in. The staff both of...

Upon arriving to e room, there was no soap, toilet paper or shampoo in rooms. In addition to tons of dead bugs on the floor. We had to ask them to sweep. We then realized the hot room didn't have any air conditioning. On a positive note, the beach was right in front of our room. Don't go for the...
