We are two weeks through a month long trip and this is the best place we've stayed. The owner is very kind and friendly. He genuinely wants to help you feel at home (as opposd to being helpful in a strictly professional sense). The view from the terrace is amazing. You can watch the sun set over the mountains and...

We loved our three day stay at Rilican. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace was a delicious buffet. The staff were helpful and friendly. The real highlight however was relaxing, watching the sun go down from the roof terrace with a bottle of red wine. A number of reviews mention an uphill walk to this hotel...

My partner and I stayed here together with his mother for two nights. We live in Istanbul and were visiting Ephesus and the surrounding area. This is really a lovely place with wonderful owners, a stunning view and great homey atmosphere. The rooms are very clean and well air conditioned and the hotel is a convenient walk from the center...

It has a lot going for it - fantastic view of Selcuk, absolutely lovely owners who were always on hand to help with anything and a nice, quiet location just out of town and near enough to the train station. But...it was a very basic room in dire need of updating, the bed was uncomfortable, the shower was poor (although...

This is a low cost budget hotel. If you are not after comfort, then this might be a choice. Having stayed there once, next time, I'd rather pay an additional 20 Euro for a much better hotel. This place is essentially a hostel. The bathrooms don't have shower doors. After each shower, it became wet and slippery everywhere. The rooms...

I stayed as a solo traveller at the Rilican Hotel in May 2012. I was travelling on a shoestring budget and decided to stay at the Rilican because it was nearly the same price as hostels but offered a private bathroom + breakfast. The location is very convenient, the view from the terrace where you have breakfast is amazing. The...

We stayed for 3 nights. Room was small,no fridge or coffee and tea facilities. This is a low cost budget hotel.Breakfast was terrible. The only thing going for this hotel is the view of the castle and town of Secuk. Only a short walk to the town.We would not stay here again.

We spent 2 nights at the Rilican to view Ephesus. We booked the Rilican based on Tripadvisor ratings and we think those ratings are misleading. If you are looking for a low cost place and comfort is not important then consider the Rilican. It was well below the level of all of our other accommodation in Turkey. But it was...

Stayed 8-9Oct12. We booked this hotel based on tripadvisor ranking. This was further down the list but the rates were the best value. Pros : 1. Free parking for those driving. 2. Not in town centre. Hotels in town don't have parking. You have to park offsite and the parking site was always full. 3. Clean. Basic amenities available -...

Just got back from a weeks vacation in Selcuk Turkey and I stayed at the hotel Rilican. The positive reviews I read ahead of time were spot on. The gentleman that runs the place is just such a wonderful man and so very nice. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable with nice firm mattresses. The pillows could...
