We were two families spending 1 night there in the end of June 2013. An exceptionally friendly and service minded staff! A wonderful terrace restaurant serving excellent Turkish food. We used to pool a lot - the kids just loved it. Selcuk is the perfect base for exploring Ephesus and Hotel Nazar is a perfect and laid-back place to live.

Stayed 2 nights with our 3 young kids. Hotel is in a great location to explore selcuk which is not the prettiest of towns but is handy for Ephesus and is interesting for the hustle and bustle. Rooms are all spotless. Showers modern and work well. Mattresses are new and very comfy. View from roof terrace of castle over dinner...

We stayed at the Hotel Nazar for one night while in Turkey en route back to Istanbul. The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly which we very much appreciated. The rooms were excellent for the price, very clean, food delicious on the roof top patio, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! It was the best shower we...

We chose this hotel because it served as a good base from which to visit Ephasus and other nearby places. We were very pleased with this place! We spent one night here towards the end of our trip all around Turkey, just before flying back to Istanbul. What a wonderful experience! I only wish we'd had more time as we would've stayed longer at this fantastic little hotel, and enjoyed exploring the area. We found Nazar Hotel on TA before we left the previous town, and booked...

My husband and I recently spent 2 nights here in early July during our 3 week trip throughout Turkey. Selcuk is the perfect base for exploring Ephesus, Priene, Miletus, Didyma and even Pammukale if you are pressed for time. We nearly stayed in Kusadasi and were glad we did not. Although it has great shopping (you can visit easily from...

My friend and I stayed at Hotel Nazar the end of May. It was at the start of our Turkey trip and a great introduction to Turkey. Our host Ilker was by far the best host we had on our trip. The room was clean and the matresses were new and comfy. We stayed three nights and the food was...

The hotel is very nice and cosy and the family that runs it is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool and garden are very nice and relaxing and in the evening the hotel serves delicious food (at reasonable prices) on the roof terrace, with a fantastic view of Selçuk Castle. I definetely recommend it...

We arrived at the bus station, and were promptly picked up by the owner. When we asked about laundry he said they could do it tomorrow, or they could even do it tonight (it was after 6) if we needed it done right away. They had our laundry done by the time we got to breakfast the next morning! The...

Visited Selcuk as everyone does to see Ephesus. The town is not the nicest, but this hotel is a lovely oasis to stay in. The rooms are basic (no frills), but are clean and have great views of the castle (if you get the right side of the building). Ilker (the owner) is extremely helpful. The breakfast was great on...
