We've stayed at some great places during this trip but the urkmez was without doubt the best nights stay we've had on this trip. The room was clean and tidy, the staff friendly and couldn't help enough and the breakfast view was awesome. The breakfast itself was very good too :-) The hotel itself is a little awkward to find...

Decided to stay in Selcuk to be closer to sites in particular Ephesus. While not fancy it has everything that you need. The breakfast was really good, and the location is great. The town is nice also, and the area around the hotel gives it a small town feel with pretty good restaurants. Mainly the guys who run it are...

We stayed a week at the Urkmez Hotel, using it as a base for seeing historical sites and enjoying the area. It is basic but comfortable, and not expensive. The people running it are very friendly and extremely helpful. There is a good selection of things for breakfast, which is on the top (5th) floor, with a wonderful view across...

I chose this hotel because even their very worst reviews had nothing negative to say about the helpfulness and friendliness of the owners and staff. That, to me, is far more important than lifts, huge bedrooms or posh bathrooms. We had a comfortable room on the quieter side of the hotel with a lovely balcony to watch the storks nesting...

My wife and I stayed at Urkmez Hotel in May 2016 for 2 nights on our trip to Ephesus. The staff at Urkmez was wonderful and really made our trip to Ephesus enjoyable. The hotel is owned by two brothers and the one that we interacted with (I don't recall his name) went above and beyond our expectations. Aside from...

A nice and cheap place to stay! Comes with breakfast and free room wifi. We could hear other guests talking other than that it was a pleasant stay. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. He recommended us to buy the museum pass which cost us, each 185 turkish lira but really worth it.

The staff was very attentive and resourceful. They helped arranged airport transfers and recommended other services. Hotel is convienently located and near the bus station which one can take to other towns. Hotel is clean and the breakfast on the roof terrace is a plus.

We did not have a place to stay and I found this hotel on google. From the moment I called them, they were just too nice. The whole family was at our service. We stayed at their boutique hotel during a bicycle race, so some roads were closed, they ferried us around. The room was incredible, the garden nice, and...

We arrived late at night, and although it is initially confusing that there is no reception on the ground floor of this hotel, we quickly realised everything was one floor up. The guys upstairs told us to leave our bags and then carried them up to our rooms, which were on the 3rd floor. The hotel owner, who I think...

We were lucky to have breakfast here during our stay at Ephesus Suites hotel, both owned by the same family, and we have only good times to share. Everybody has been so helpful and nice with us, always making us feel welcome and trying to guide us through their beautiful town and historical sites.
