We can highly recommend the newly renovated triple room on the 4th floor. The bathroom is huge and there is plenty of room in the room itself. The only table is found on the private large balcony in front of the room. Room has double glass window panes so the lovely sight of the mosque in front does not mean... More

Staff at Jimmys were great to us. When we arrived they gave us complimentary apple tea and even picked us up from the bus stop. I got really sick there and they called a local medical clinic who arrived in 15 mins! I have read some of the bad reviews about the booking of trips, but I cant comment as... More

You get what you pay for with Jimmy's. Cheap accommodation but with cheap breakfasts (no cold meats available, no juice, plain and basic) and non-stop enquiries about purchasing tours and booking accommodation for the rest of your trip. Rooms are simple - toilet ran non-stop for our 2 nights there, we had to request a remote for the air conditioning,... More

Well we stayed about a month in turkey, unfortunatly we chosed 4 days to stay in selcuk which was a mistake, of course there were better options like kusadasi, jimmys place might be reasonable place for backpackers but believe me you can get even better for that price, staff is not friendly and lacking information, bad slamming elevator doors. i... Jimmy's Place, Selcuk Turkey. Date Visited: 19th May, 2008 Reviewer: Family of four from Brisbane, Autsralia We booked this hotel as it was recommened in Lonely Planet. Our hotel in Pamukale recommended us to this hotel and it was ideal. We again had a large famliy room and it was spotless. The best feature was the reference library in the foyer, the kids were never at a loss if they had spare time. Adam organised all our tours for us and it was priced very reasonably...we know... Jimmy's Place has a nice fireplace where the guests and the hosts and their relatives/staff congregate. In the winter the cook of the hotel makes the traditional gulash casserole at the fireplace for the guests and themself. It really creates a cozy atmosphere. And, I was told it is the only hotel in Celcuk that has central heating system. Jimmy... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Jimmy's Place during our travels in Turkey. Centrally located in the small town of Selcuk, it's easy to get around town, and close to noteworthy sights. Recently renovated, Jimmy booked us in two of the new larger suites that featured a fabulous bathroom and small sitting area with A/C. Breakfast on the patio in... More

The building has a central corridor that goes all the way up through several stories. All night long there were incredibly loud, slamming doors. Even at 3 and 4 in the morning. That was the worst part. I was only able to sleep for a couple of hours. The beadspread has some really gross-looking spots on it. The photos on... More

My wife and I are travelling around Europe and have been looking for high quality budget accomodation - Jimmy's place has probably offered the best value of any place we have experienced (including hotesl / hostels in Turkey, Hungary, Greece and Croatia). The hotel is centrally located in Selcuk and is a 3 min walk from the bus station. Staff... More

“We were told we had been upgraded, goodness knows what the other rooms were like. Our room faced the mosque and had a balcony which was good. Some people might not like the early morning (4.00am) ball Call to prayer. We quite like that.”
