We ended up staying a day longer because we liked Selcuk so much and were pleased with our accommodations. Our host was a great source of information-- one day he helped me arrange an independent trip to Priene and Miletos avoiding the tourist bus. He did everything he could to cater to our plans and make us welcome. For my...

Antik Hotel it's a good place to stay with family because the rooms are big and very comfortable. Room Service is friendly always very helpful. This hotel it's near city center but not inside - for us it's very good location. Breakfast was everyday very good (on the terrace with nice view) :)

Had a great three night stay at the Efes Antik here in Selcuk, Turkey. The owner, Gursel, was a fantastic host! I arrived after 8pm and did not have a chance to eat dinner, so Gursel quickly whipped up a quick bite to eat in his kitchen in less than 5 minutes =). Gursel was also able to provide an...

We been to almost 5 cities / town's in Turkey and always stayed in Guest Houses as a backpacker, expecting that guest houses are always cheap and hotels are damn costly . any how , we reached Selchuk at night and been looking for the Guest houses street like other backpackers near the bus station . and saw this hotel...

The owner of this hotel is very friendly and helpful. Goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable. Rooms very clean and the breakfast was the best we had in Turkey. The downside is that it is very smoky. The staff appeared to have cigarettes burning constantly, and the odor was pervasive overnight.

I stayed for several nights at the Antik and would stay there again, but you should know that it is a no-nonsense pension - better than the hostels in town, but some of the pricier places will give you more special touches. Most of the rooms have been updated in the last couple of years and include large in-room baths....

This hotel is really fantastic. It's right on the main road, about 3 mins walk from the bus station so easy to find and get to. The rooms are perfect: clean and each has its own individual flavor with Turkish decorations and a clean bathroom. Air conditioning also (much needed I assure you)! The terrace is beautiful and it's lovely...

We ended up at the Antik Hotel by default having rejected a double room in Cenka Hotel, Selcuk which had been organised by a travel agent. The Antik Hotel was clean, charming, well situated, and comfortable. We found the manager Gursel to be extremely welcoming and helpful. Gursel is proud of his budget hotel with good reason. He didn't mind...
