location was fantastic. Next to town and bus station for easy access in and out, without being noisy. Great rooftop terrace. Owner was amazingly helpful, offering us a choice of two rooms on arrival as well as tea, coffee and fruit - and generally being very helpful, kind and funny. We had to leave at 6am the next morning and... More

The hotel is very central location; but then, Selcuk is a small town where most places are within walking distance. Across the street are the restaurants, souvenir stalls. It's 5 minutes' walk from the bus / train station. Breakfast was provided but very limited - all food came in a plate with no choice, the worst of my Turkey experience.... More

This hotel has an excellent location, 5 min from the otogar (Bus station) and walking distance from the Basilica of St John and the Museum. The breakfast is good, lots of fresh fruits. Gursel is very helpful and friendly.

I have been staying at this hotel for years now. The rooms are now a bit jaded but they are clean and functional. The rooms at the front can be a bit noisy as they overlook the Main Street. The hotel is only five minutes away from the bus station for those without their own transport. I had no problem... More

The hotel is well located 5 min walk from the otogar (bus station) as well as train station and centre of town. Family run and the owners are really warm and friendly. Breakfast is included. The building and facilities are fairly old and worn and it's not very well provided for example there was no hairdryer and there was just... More

Stayed here for two nights with a friend. The owner (Gorzel - apologies for the spelling) was a great bloke. Very helpful, happy to sit and chat with us as well as give excellent advice on tours and travel. He even haggled down a tour price for us by calling the owner of the agency. This sort of hospitality is... More

The hotel is located only a few minutes from the Selcuk Ortogar and training station and has lot of restaurants right across from the street. It is a lot walk to the St. John Basilica and the Mosque. The owner helped us to get a good deal on the taxi, which took us to House of Mary, waited for us... More

Efes Antik Hotel was great and we have to thank the family there for taking care of us. Everyone went out of their way to help us and show us around Selcuk - they definitely added to our experience of the city and of Ephesus. If you are looking for a family friendly and oriented experience, this is the place... More

This review is a little overdue, but my experience at this hotel definitely made my trip to Ephesus more memorable. The owner assured me that they provide the best breakfast in the town, and they really did - there were about 10 different seasonal fruits along with good jam, cheese, and bread. At a very affordable rate, I stayed in... More

We booked through Booking.com at excellent rates . The owner/manager - Gursel is a very helpful man, and can give advice on many aspects of life in Slejuk as well as arrange taxis and tours . Rooms are clean and well furnished, with hot water all day and aircon and heating units . It was cold the week we visited... More
