Hotel is located in the center of the tourist attractions. Walking distance to hagai sophia, blue mosque, toptaki palace, grand bazaar and train station. Laundry services are offered. Rooms are neat and has great view. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff are accomodating and polite. No elevator to bring up and down luggages but staff are kind to assist.

The rooms were clean and the location was in walking distance of the Blue Mosque. I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and felt really safe. The hotel front desk assisted with tours, bus shuttle to airport.

We were very satisfied. There was not the best view in our room, but everything clean and it was in amazing location for a good price. Just few steps from Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. Breakfasts on the terase were just perfect!

I had stayed this neighborhood for several time, comparing others, Cem Sultan is no sewage problem, price is cheaper, location is good, however, no elevator(can ask front desk to carry luggage to the room), breakfast is too simple no roof view for Blue Mosque or Hagia Sophia.

Stayed for 3 nights, and we thought it was a decent value place, but could've been better. We were annoyed at being given a twin room rather than the double we booked, but otherwise the hotel was reasonably good value, the room being small but clean. The staff seemed absolutely gormless, but they did book us a taxi when asked....

Staff here was the highlight, 'Safe' spoke English very well and was always there to help us plan our sight seeing, rent our car or give us an umbrella! If you are visiting Old Istanbul it is just a short walk to everything. Rooms were average, a bit small and not the cleanest but for the price it was a...

We stayed in this hotel in September for 3 nights. The location is perfect, walking distance to the main attractions with the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia etc being just around the corner. The hotel staff were funny, helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good with the dining room having an amazing view of Istanbul. The only...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
