Convenient location in Sultanahmet, just what you need for tourists, near is Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and more. The rooms are very small but they have everything you need: air conditioning, wi-fi, TV, comfortable bed. I liked the breakfast every day was different fruits. It has a rooftop restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea, where you can...

Very friendly staff Esp Bunyamin in a clean boutique hotel located in the Oldcity area of Sultanahmet l. The location is unbeatable with an easy walk to the major sites in the Old City. Very easy connection to airport. The staff is extremely helpful in booking Tours, transfers and the like. I would strongly recommend the Tria particularly if this...

The hotel is very cosy and friendly, a particular mention to Bunyamin who made our stay very comfortable and helped us whenever he could with anything we needed, whether it be at the hotel or just advice for our adventures. This hotel is adorable and provides a very warm and authentic experience, with a personal vibe and not like staying...

There was a very warm and friendly ambience in the Hotel, which was decorated for Christmas with a lovely tree bedecked with baubles etc in the Reception area. Everywhere was clean, our room was perfectly serviced every day and we were offered a great deal of information from Reception, particularly by Bunyamin, who gladly volunteered to check information on his...

I would thank the friendly staff during my second visit to Istanbul. Convenient location to many historic sites, shops and restaurants. You may find the rooms are not that great in size or view but it is cosy. Hey, would you really want to stay inside when the sight and sound are out there in the city?

I booked a week in this hotel and had to move after the first night. The location is close to many attractions but in a relatively isolated street. View was terrible and room too small (even though it was a deluxe room). Furniture is very old. It is an excellent motel but definitely not a 4 star hotel. Does not...

Before we arrived to Tria I saw all bad reviews here and I really regretted that I booked a hotel without previously reading reviews. But we were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived and checked in. Staff at the reception were very nice and helpful and spoke perfect English. They took us to the room, opened door for us and...

I imagined the rooms would have views of the Bosporus but that was not to be. After asking to be moved, I was given a room with views of the water but through the ruins of a concrete building. I was very disappointed in this because we had booked to stay there for four nights. The breakfasts are fantastic! So...

Very clean and quite. The breakfast is good, but they could smile a little bit more... In general a nice experience and for sure it is perfect to walk to all the main monuments of Sultanahmet! The water flows from the shower in a very pleasantly intense way! Liked it!

Tria is on a quiet street, just down the hill from the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. It's about a five minute walk to the mosques or, in the opposite direction, to the walkway along the Bosphorus. They have a large and delicious breakfast with lots of fresh fruit. The rooms at the back of the hotel open onto...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
