Disclaimer: I'd like to give this property 3.5 stars, but TripAdvisor won't let me. First of all, the service at this hotel is great. Everybody is really helpful and accommodating. My fiancé and I had to be out of the hotel by about 5:00 a.m. to catch a 7:25 international flight and they were fussing over how they would be...

We stayed here two nights, Nil was most helpful and a delight. Was hard to find, but it was dark and we had just got off tram, once daylight found bearings, so close to everything. Highly recommend. Very clean, our room was small but cosy, all you need when visiting is a good bed.

Simple hotel, without luxuries but it is just behind the most famous Mosques (5 minutes walking). Its prices are much cheaper than all the rest of the hotels next to. Small rooms but very usefull. And I can't forget about the staff, always trying to help us with a smile in their faces. The perfect hotel to visit Istambul, staying...

The Antique Hotel is a nice, little hotel in a good location in Sultanahmet. The hotel has a nice breakfast on the rooftop terrace with some drinks, pastries, fruit, veggies and hard boiled eggs. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. They are very small, but my husband and I had no problems leaving each of our large travel backpacks on...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
