We thouroughly enjoyed our two night stay here. We were picked up efficiently at Sabiha Gokcen airport and dropped at the hotel in just over half an hour. The hotel is set in a nondescript but safe area within easy walking distance of the Blue Mosque, although pavements are broken and there is a bit of a gradient. Our room...

Very friendly staff, relaxed atmousphere, comfortable clean rooms. Such an obliging place to come back to after sight seeing. So near to Sultanahmet Mosques and palaces - five minutes on foot. Don't miss the nearby leather quarter and mosque in this historic quater of the city. Great hotel, great location!

The hotel is located in a quiet suburb five minutes from the main attractions of the cultural centre of Istanbul such as the Blue Mosque and the Haghia Sophia, which makes it a great base for visits. We were with 4 persons. The hotel is quiet, very friendly employees, beatiful rooms close to Blue Mosque and located in the middle the day to day Turkish life. Nice garden and perfect breakfast.. If compared to the large hotel chains this is why you want to visit Turkey.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
