The hotel is very well located, near HagiaSophia, Sultanahmet...it's small hotel, with cosy rooms, including everything you would expect. Stuff is very friendly and helpful, place is very calm. I'm not giving 5 points for 1 reason, I would expect better breakfast, there is not really huge variety of food and I was quite disappointed by that.

Everything was amazing: comfy bed, beautifully decorated room, free coffee and tea on terrace with view on Blue Mosque, very close to main Istanbul attractions, safe area, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, shuttle transport on demand or just in from of the hotel, possible late check-out, good price per room, Sifa hamami nearby for typical Turkish experience not to be missed....

Very nice place to stay. Administration and staff friendly - make their best to provide service for the guests. Attentive for clients requests. Administration may recommend places to visit. As mentioned above, hotel situated close to major sightseens and transport junctions. And finally good value for money.

Even though i never felt remotely threatened by any one or any thing in this super cool metropolis, the hotel manager, Mehmet Ozkan, kept an eye on my coming and going. This small spot is affordable and situated near Marmara Sea in the old town. Walk to the Blue Mosque. Mehmet speaks English well, and with a vaguely Russian accent...

I spent 3 nights here in June. The room was rather small (around 12 sq metres) but lightful and really really clean. The bathroom was also newly renovated and had all necessities free of charge. Besides the room had a minibar where one can get drinking water chilled. The air conditioning worked really well. At first the hotel was a...

Very welcoming reception and managment staff. Spotlessly clean rooms with really good quality towels and efficient aircondition. For a small hotel there was a good variety of food for breakfast including a variety of fresh bread and cakes. Exceedingly handy for most of the major sites and bazaars in the old area of the city. I don't know how it...

Great hotel, great location. Mehmet Ozkan and his staff do everything they can to be sure that you enjoy your stay. When I fell on a sidewalk (nothing to do with the hotel) and it was late on Saturday and the pharmacies were about to close, they sent someone to buy Ibuprofen for me. Hotel is very clean and quiet....

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
