The hotel is located in Taksim area, a bit difficult to find this hotel, the hotel's position close to the galata tower. so we entered the hotel directly facing small coffee shop. no elevators. The rooms are small, clean, tidy, the bathroom was quite spacious, clean, there is only an unpleasant smell from the bathroom. nice breakfast, lots of variety... More

Very rude night receptionist and tiny tiny room. We werent welcomed and was evwn asked to pay the stay in advance when arrived. The only good thing about this place is the location. The towels were particularly worn off and it was disgusting just to look at them.

Made a last minute booking to spend the weekend here, solely on what was available online. Really lucked out! The hotel is about 50m from Galata Tower itself, really charming street; right in the middle of Galata neighbourhood and just a 5 minute walk from the top of Istiklal Street. The hotel passes as a cafe with tables on the... More

I had a lovely time at this hotel, the room was particular clean, and it came with all the things you might need. The beds were comfortable, the reception was open 24 hours a day, the staff were impeccably polite overall (mostly, and most importantly, Pelin who was dutiful, kind, and should be promoted and given a raise). Finally, the... More

If exceptions cleanliness that wants sufficient improvement, is a very nice hotel. For cleanliness to mention that I found hairs on the sheets when we check in and hairs in the bathroom. The bathroom window was also very dirty, like light switches and headboards. General wants more diligence. Convenient location, close to tram and metro station. beautiful shops around, 5... More

Stayed for 4 nights at the Triple Room. Really good value, given the fact that summer is a peak season in Istanbul and the hotel rates can be quite high. Good and comfortable room. There is a cool cafe at the ground floor, where daily breakfast is served. Due to the location on hilly slopes, climbing up and down the... More

We stayed 1 week in this comfortable hotel with great staff! Breakfast was nice in a cafe just around the corner. All in all a very nice hotel i would recommend to everyone. And its very cheap as well! The area is very quiet but yet very central with the Galata tower and Istiklal Street just 30 seconds away.

We stayed here for three nights in a room on the top floor near the rooftop terrace. The room is nicely appointed with a lovely functional bathroom. The bed was comfortable and there was enough storage space as well. We loved the terrace!! Such a nice place to sit and relax and enjoy the fresh air. In the mornings the... More

Hotel is very easily approached from main street Istiklal, just around the corner, looking very cosy stylish cute and comfortable with privacy-keeping staff who was very kind. My room was small and beautiful, looking towards the main street where from you can hear some neighbours practicing their music instruments. Breakfast was delicious. Price was also rather good! I will definitely... More

We (a couple in early twenties) stayed in the hotel for 6 nights. The room was clean and neat, though not very big. The breakfast was good, and the staff friendly, despite the fact that some had trouble understanding English. It had everything we look for in a hotel.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
