We stayed a total of 17 days at Side Hotel over several stays as we were in Turkey for 6 weeks. During that time we got to know the staff well and had a great holiday in Istanbul staying there. We had probably the best room in the hotel, costing 80 Euro per night, and it had a large balcony...

Room is clean and functional albeit small. No frills basically with reasonable budget at €50 per night for a double room and breakfast inclusive. Staffs are generally friendly with good service. Near to major attractions (walking distance) in Istanbul - Blue Mosque, etc.

Small, cozy, clean and perfectly located pension. Is not a hotel, so don't expect a pool, TV, all day restaurant, etc. Great location: few steps form the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia & the heart of old Istanbul. If you like to walk, do so, in 20-40 min you are in the Grand Bazaar, the port, Galata Tower and main...

Breakfast adequate but same every day and only available between 8.30am - 10.30am not available if you leave early eg 7.30am. The bill has to be paid in cash with Euros, no credit cards ? Istanbul a great...

This place saves you a vast amount of walking and traveling. All the museums and the blue Mosque, Palace and Hagia Sophia are within quick walking distance. Room was small for me, as I'm over 6 feet tall, the breakfast was not really a breakfast at all and the additional cost for an aircon is ridiculous at 10€ extra per...

Great location, great water pressure, friendly staff. Average rooms (noisy during the day if you have the window open and need a little nap), average beds, average breakfast. This hotel could really bump up their status by buying nicer mattresses and adding fruit, cheese and a better quality of bread to their breakfast table. It's a great deal for the...
