Room was excellent as was breakfast and overall sevice by staff. Like most places in Turkey the bar is unfortunately smoker friendly which is a pain and this also pollutes the foyer area....

Prior to my arrival, Guest Relations assisted me with travel recommendations and was willing to do the booking for me for bus tickets, transportation to and from the hotel. We stayed for more than 4 nights and were given a shuttle to the hotel from the airport. He was waiting for us with a sign having our names on it....

We stay for 6 nights in this hotel. We were greeted by Ayse, their Guest Relations Manager on our arrival. She served us the welcome tea and gave us an overview of the city and guided us about various sites to visit. Ayse was especially very friendly and helpful in guiding us throughout our stay in Istanbul. The first 3...

I have been in the Erboy 3 times now! So what shall I say: I go there because staff is friendly and rooms are clean (you'll get clean towels every day!) and rooms have everything you'll need for a nice and carefree stay. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the touristic centre of Istanbul. Aya Sofia, the...

The hotel itself is very close to the major tourist site of Topkai Palace, Hagia Sopia et al. Hagia Sopia was a gentle 8 - 10 mins stroll. The hotel itself - the remote control of the TV did not work when...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
