Very conveniently located hotel with an outstanding view of the Hagia Sophia from the rooftop restaurant. Staff were very helpful and restaurant food good. Serving sizes at the Panorama restaurant were very big.

Our stays were WONDERFUL last month. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and everything worked well. It's quaint, charming and very Turkish. As an inexpensive hotel, And is exceptional value for money and we felt safe and secure at all times. The staff were just lovely - warm, friendly, polite, always smiling and ever-willing to give both assistance and... More

Very nice hotel and GREAT location, 5 mins walking to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The staff is really nice and the rooms are good! Breakfast with a nice view of Istanbul and the food was also good. Totally recommended.

This is an older multi-story hotel in the district close by the Blue Mosque, Sophia and Topkapi. We did not stay at the hotel so cannot comment on the rooms or service. However, our group had dinner at the rooftop restaurant, which was excellent. Well prepared food, excellent service, and a view to die for. Even if you don't stay... More

If you value service, trust and like to walk away from a place feeling good, this is NOT the hotel for you. The owner/manager? of the hotel was surly, humourless and aggressive in his communications to questions and issues. The rest of his staff were pleasant enough, the most helpful being the 2 bell boys there and we have to... More

Fantastic view from our 5th floor room, with lovely balcony to sit on right across from Hagia Sophia and, to the right, the Blue Mosque. Great breakfast from the restaurant above with even more extensive views. Central and comfortable, our only problem was that the rooms were rather small.

Great hotel to stay in. Really enjoyed our trip and stay. Very clean. Extremely courteous, friends and helpful staff ! The view is amazing from the room balcony. The location cannot be better, as all major sites within 2-4 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Will come back and stay here 👍

Ok I'll keep this review to basics as frankly you are only likely to need this hotel as a base for exploring. It is in the perfect location. Literally a couple of hundred metres from the Topkapi Palace and spitting distance of the Blue mosque. As you exit the hotel you are just over the road from the Basilica Cistern,... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
