Chose this hotel for the pool; the location & the included breakfast. The pool is fabulous, surpassed our expectations, area was very clean, water was cool & sunbeds comfy -a fantastic reward at the end of a day's sight seeing - and towels provided (bonus). Fab views as well. Location was good, 2 minutes walk to the tram line which...

From the minute you enter the hotel, you get this feeling like you gonna suffocate (No air conditioning in the hotel with an outside temperature of 36 degrees C). The pool on the roof is very dirty and the rooms smell. The AC in the room barely works and the noise from the street is very high.

We stayed here on a preplanned independent Turkey tour. Room is great size, beds are a little hard but great location to all attractions and great nearby restaurants. Staff are a little unhelpful like previous comments but we liked the area.

I was part of a package tour and stayed at the hotel at the start & end of the tour. Not only did the wi-fi not work properly but the front desk staff were also most unhelpful. We stayed on the 5th floor & the noise from the street could be clearly heard. On my final day, I left 32...

Stayed on two occasions at the start and finish of a package tour. At checkin, reception staff failed to advise about a welcome meeting scheduled by our tour operator. Once in the room, we found it to be extremely hot especially with the afternoon sun on the window. The air conditioning didn't work properly and when maintenance was called, the...

Train/metrobus station is also 2 blocks away but you can walk to the Sultanhamet area if you like to walk and the city is great and very safe. The room was clean and spacious enough. The rooftop pool was not open when we...

Staying in Grand Bazaar

Neighbourhood Profile
Grand Bazaar
Tourists, hawkers, and locals come together at the Grand Bazaar to comb its labyrinthine passageways in search of a bargain – be it a pair of brand name jeans, a handcrafted silk rug, or a perfectly brewed cup of tea. Outside the vast bazaar, worn, narrow streets wind their way down from its lofty perch to the southern shore of the Golden Horn, where the evocatively aromatic Spice Bazaar beckons alongside the elegant New Mosque (opened in 1665). Nearby, the famed Galata Bridge offers pedestrian access to urban delights across the river in Istanbul’s more residential and contemporary neighbourhoods, while the must-see sights of Sultanahmet are but a leisurely stroll away.
