Other than a good location and a great terrace view of the blue mosque, the hotel is dark, dingy and smells damp. The manager or the owner as she called herself was rude and we decided to leave as soon as we saw what we booked,we couldn't...More
Excellent small hotel in the heart of Istanbul. If you're lucky, you can get a nice room with a view of the bay and balcony. There is really one small detail: the hotel is located near the Blue Mosque and early in the morning Muajin...More

Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby including the Sultanahmet square. Price is affordable, rooms were a bit small but clean and tidy. Accessible to everything like parks, tram station and souvenir/gift shops.
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
