Clean rooms, reasonable price a nice family hotel much recommended. Very close to blue mosque and other excitements. Breakfast included. Very nice view of SultanAhmet Mosque and sea view. We felt very secure and safe as it has 24hrs reception and doors gets locked at night from inside by the staff.

I felt like I'm in my home and the hotel staff like my family,I loved the balcony with breathtaking view on the sea and sultan ahmed mosque, the open buffet just OK and sufficient for traditional turkish breakfast but don't expect five stars breakfast, the location was the best thing in my staying since it is in the middle of old... Fantastic location, the hotel is only a corner around the Hippodrome and the Blue Mosque. I went here with my family and found it very convenient to get to all the nearby historical locations. The breakfast was fantastic, it was on the top floor and provided an amazing view of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Bosphorus. The staff... More

Great hotel and staff were warm, welcoming and informative. We were allowed into our room when arriving at 0630. Oscar the manager on duty for the 3 nights we were there, could not have been more helpful. Breakfast room at the top has the most amazing view of Blue Mosque. Great place to sit and have a beer in the... More

The hotel arranged for a car pick-up/drop-off at the airport which was to be paid in Cash upon arrival. The location is perfect to walk around old Istanbul with a view of the Blue Mosque from the rooftop terrace. The staff was friendly and the family room we booked had 2 separate bathrooms which was great. Everything was walking distance... More

The staff went out of their way to make me comfortable, and the convenient locations made my short stay a success. My room on the 4th floor had a balcony which was perfect for a late afternoon rest and the roof top breakfast room had a spectacular view of the Blue Mosque rooftops and minarets.

Stayed here for 4 nights in April. Location is just off the corner of the hippodrome closest to the Blue Mosque. It is - literally - a 3 minute walk to the Blue Mosque. Ask for a room with a view - ours wasn't the best but did look out over the quiet street and you could see the corner... More

The receptionists are very kind and helpful when needed. The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to visit the old centre of Istanbul like Sultanahmet. Only 2 min from the tramway station and finally the rapport between price and quality is very good. I have stayed twice at this hotel and I have been always very satisfied.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
