Recently got a good deal online for stay at Larespark hotel in Taksim. The hotel is near to Taksim square and you can get a bus directly from the airport to this area. Location wise this hotel is workable as you have many restaurants , bars , shopping within 5-10 minutes of walking distance. Although the standard have come down...

It was my second attendance in LaresPark Hotel. I have been there about one year ago. In this session there was some quality differences: - wifi internet speed was quite slower than before. Maybe because of our room which was in 5th floor instead of 2nd in previous attendance. In some parts of the room there was no wifi coverage...

My fiancé and I are still in the hotel, room is fine but there is a big problem, in winter the wind flows through the window! The worst thing is house keeping! They make a lot of noises every day in morning ( not considering if some of the guests may be sleeping) and in last 6 days, we asked...

Good location but not safe specially for ladies. I think they rent the rooms for rebating women as every nights there was terrible voices from other rooms and receptionists did not pay attention at all.

Very very ordinary hotel which was not safe for single ladies. In 7th floor you can easily hear what is going to happen in room 710 ,where a lady shouted and asked for help but even the receptionists did not care even after I called them. Anyway I prefer not to try this hotel anymore and never advise it

Nothing was touching. There was a problem created by stupid tour leader and hotel staff did not help at all. I will never go back there. I do not recommend staying around taksim either. It is just a crowded place not suitable for stay you can visit the place once during your visit.

I have stayed 4 days at Lares Park. The location is perfect, only 3-4 minutes walk to Metro Station. The room size was good and clean. The breakfast is very limited and almost the disadvantage of the hotel. We have stayed in room 108 level one which you think you are in middle of taksim square and its pretty noisy...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
