The room was marvellous! It was my 2nd visit so I had an idea what to expect; Small touches like toothbrush, good bath robe, good quality shower gel, spacious room. Only a tub was missing, so no hoped-for bubble bath. Breakfast simply awesome, as a vegetarian it's not easy to find food in Istanbul so breakfast was a blast n... More

I had some quiet time there in 2014, but my impression of this hotel was in the low-4. It definitely not a luxurious hotel. But an average bed and board with great breakfast. Now that i have visited Istanbul more the price also seems a bit expensive for such a service

we spent 7 nights at this hotel. everyday after 10 am there was a lot of noise of a heavy construction upstairs. The daily room service was terrible and never changed the pillow case even after asking them. The worst part is, in the last day after checking out, we were waiting in the lobby for our transfer to the... More

1. There was a lot of noise in the morning and noon due to some renovation in the room next to us. 2. We were two in the room so we were using two key cards, but one card was never working and we asked several times to fix it but at the end we gave up and just used... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
