Hold the loud and the glitzy and the unnecessary: the Armada is elegant. Quietly charming and immaculately clean, all systems are thoughtful and functioning. The hotel has a clientele that is as nicely mixed as the breakfast fruit salad and magically everyone values decorum. Incredible...More
I was on my 3rd trip to Istanbul and The Armada is my 7th or 8th hotel during those visits. I consider it a 'hidden treasure' considering it's location - a bit out of the way from the hustle and bustle of Sultanhamet. But that...More
Located in the heart of Istanbul, very convenient to visit Topkapi Muzeum, Blue mosque etc. I especially like the nice terrace with wonderful view and nice food.
The decoration is also nice built to look like the old houses.

The best thing about this hotel is the rooftop terrace and the buffet breakfast. You can see aya sofia and the blue mosque nestled between different rooftops on one side, and the blue of the sea on the other. Gorgeous. The breakfast is an impressive...More
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
