The hotel is clean, and great value for money. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous, easy walking distance to all the sights as well as some lovely restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely spacious room in the new part of the hotel, overlooking the Sokollu Mehmet Pasa Mosque. The staff are exemplary and are incredibly helpful, particularly, Mehmet, Sinel & Selcuk, who all made every effort to make our stay pleasant. This is a charming family run hotel. Simple, decent breakfast in an open area to the side of...

Nice little hotel, centrally located in a rather quiet area with small streets. It’s just a 10-minutes walk to Sultanahmet (Blue Mosque) and Hagia Sophia, from there you can get everywhere by tram. Hospitality and service were great, very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was good, clean and had enough space for 2 persons, even though it was nowhere...

I was so happy staying at this lovely hotel. Staff were great, always helpful and ready with a smile. The position of the hotel is good - easy to get to everything you want to see but not too close to be disturbed. Breakfast and a great dinner menu was a bonus!

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights for a long weekend. We booked through booking.com, but pay attention when booking: the cheapest room is in the basement (not the best)! We asked to upgrade to a normal room and the hotel service was super nice upgrading for a good price. Room is very clean and nice, room service every...

We were fortunate to stay with this great hotel two nights. The staff was excellent. They stored our luggage while we left for Cappadocia and Izmir. On return our luggage and room were ready with the staff making it seamless. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The rooms were quite comfortable some with balconies. Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
