We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. All staff were great, service was 'special class' as described by the hotel details. Staff really helpful and do their best to facilitate your stay and problems. Within walking distance to Blue Mosque, Hajia Sophia and other highlights in the Sultanahmet area. Great room, breakfast and amenities. The only drawback we had was...

Sukullu Pasa is a converted Ottoman home with plenty of charm and character. It is centrally located it is easy walk to the hippodrome, Haga sophia, blue mosque and grand bazaar. staff are super friendly and helpful and work on the belief our home is your home. There is a lovely courtyard to sit and have a drink.

Stayed in Room 301 for a day/night. Nice decor but was stifling hot. Was a sun-facing corner room with glass windows. The AC didn't work at all. Had to open windows at night - but being close to the main road - was extremely noisy. The room had a good view of the Sea - and also of the rubbish...

Unfortunately we only had one night at this hotel before we took off for regional Turkey. The hotel is very comfortable and cosy and exudes old world charm. Staff were friendly and attentive. Time permitting I would have liked to have had a drink at happy hour on the patio soaking up the ambience.

Turkey tour with YUKI Travel & Tours is highly recommended. Tour guides are good, friendly, professional & historically knowledgeable. Visited Istanbul/Capaddocia/Pamukkale/Kusadasi/Ephesus. Food and lodging @ places of visits are fantastic. My family really enjoy and hope to visit turkey again @ places not yet visited. WE LOVE TURKEY.

People at the hotel were great and very helpful but the location is little hard to find for a visitor. Rooms are good they can improve by adding an English Channel in the TV and may be air condition unit. I stayed for 5 days, first 3 days breakfast was very limited and did not have buffet, last 2

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
