My father, sister and I stayed at this cozy and wonderfull hotel last july and they were friendly, helpfull at all times and extremly kind. We did a little tour over turkey and they kept our luggage 2weeks until we got back to Istambul with no extra charge or any trouble. On top of all the fantastic treatment that we...

Stayed with my wife for 3 nights in September 2015. Excellent location for all major tourist attractions. Manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were compact and budget quality. The only negative was that the rooms could have been cleaned more thoroughly - fluff and some food debris under the bed and the bathroom sealant and grouting had...

We were directed here after the hotel we were due to stay in turned out to be closed!! An awful situation to be in at 9pm at night with young children we were shown to this hotel and with very limited chance to make any other arrangements we accepted to stay here. The staff are really pleasant and did there...

I strongly recommend this hotel for the good price-quality relation and because it was located in the old town very near to the most important locations. The hotel team were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I had a great stay there! Greetings from Chile!

You'll get what you pay. The staff are very nice and helpful. The location is really perfect, near historical, marmara & sirkeci stations. The only problem is that it's a small hotel so the breakfast is a little bit poor.

Stayed for a week and I couldn't have asked for better. We were treated like family, the service was above anything I could have expected. There was nothing that the staff wouldn't or couldn't help us with and they went out of their way for us. I felt so at home I never wanted to leave. The view from the...

We only stayed for 1 night. The hotel was adequate. A few things in the room wasn't working such as the main light & the shower door but as we only stayed 1 night it wasn't a huge deal. Otherwise the staff were very friendly & helpful. Located close to the main attractions (Aya Sofia, blue mosque, grand bazaar etc)....

Stayed here 3 nights for a weekend break. I wanted a clean, centrally located hotel on a budget and I got just that! The staff were very friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean. Fresh towels everyday. Breakfast was great for a budget hotel, lots of cheeses, meats, eggs, freshly baked breads, spoilt for choice. Location was great, also directly...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
