I was staying at Bunk Beyoglu for 3 nights on a 2-bed shared room. I was traveling alone and thanks to the helpful staff (Noyan and the other guys), and all the hosts as well I had an awesome stay in Istanbul. Clean rooms with bunks, A/C, draws with lockers and hangers. I shared the bathroom with other 3 people...

By FAR the best hostel experience I've ever had! Cool, contemporary space.. Clean and comfortable too! Location is great, easily walkable from the old town. Lots of authentic Turkish canteen/restaurants nearby if you want great food for cheap (pick the restaurants with no English menus). Hostel staff happy to share their local knowledge, great talking to them they clearly love...

From the moment you arrive you will feel like at home. The staff was super friendly. During my stay they did their very best to make me feel comfortable. House keeping was fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about Bunk Beyoglu. It's excellently located in Beyoglu close to Istiklal but not so close to it that you can't sleep at night. The hostel is amazingly modern, clean, affordable, and helpful. I stayed in the Deluxe 4 Females Dorm, and it was excellent. Some of the reviews have commented on the small size...

Good: bed comfortable, room is clean, bed is clean, overall clean except bathroom. Location is very good. The staffs are very helpful but the one I was so impressed is Ata. He has social talent and passion with people. He is very patient. I guess he s never angry with anyone. For him, working in a hostel is not a...

My husband and I kicked off our summer backpacking trip with a four-night stay in a private room (shared bathroom) at Bunk. The location was perfect (just off the famous Istiklal Cadessi and within a 25-minute walk of all the main attractions). The rooms were cleaned daily, and the English-speaking staff was super friendly. Now for the potential downsides...the place...

I chose Bunk based on the photos showing it's stunning décor and handy location. I was mildly concerned with a the #hashtag as stuff that it might be a bit pretentious but everyone both staff and guests were a pleasure to meet during my week long stay. I stayed in the 4 bed dorm, bed was comfy and housekeeping do...

We tayed here with my friend taking a premises for 2 with separate beds. Well the room was very tiny - only beds and small corridor but as it was the last floor we had terrace, kitchen, bathroom and corridor with free Internet PC and placce to write - so it was like an appartment almost! Breakfasts are good and...

I spent 3 nights in one of the mixed dorm rooms at Bunk Beyoglu. This is by far the trendiest hostel I've come across. What I really liked about this place is that there is no pretence. The dorm rooms and the shared bathroom were clean and comfortable - and offered great value for the price I paid. There is...

I will start by saying that this place is probably a pretty good hostel if you are traveling cheaply and this review only reflects my specific experience. Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
