This is a really nice hotel. It's near all the main tourist sites and right next to topkapi palace!. The service is very good, very friendly staff. The rooms are clean but the toilet is a little dirty. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants comfort but not to people who want luxury.

Good price quality ratio. I booked single room but they give me triple room, so the room is very large. All work well. Excellent location as it's just few minutes walk to Sultanahmet attractions such as Blue Mosque, Topkapi and Aya Sophia. Breakfast is good but better you have at 09.00 as the staff is already came. Before that time...

Stayed in this hotel for one night only as was on a 24 layover in Istanbul. Location is amazing, it is very easy to get from airport, just the tram all the way down to Sirkeci station and a short walk. Most amazing things in Istanbul are a short walk away with plenty places to eat. Rooms are spacious and...

If you want to be close to the Old City yet stay safe of the tourist traps of Sultanahmet, stay in the Sirkeci or Gulhane Park areas close to the tram. And if you want a truly homely experience beautified by the warmth and love of the hotel staff, stay at Taya Hatun. Ideally located equidistant to the Sirkeci and...

No one spoke English, the room smelled of smoke (I was to be given a smokeless room), the WIFI was nearly non-existent in the room meaning I had to stand next to the door to get a signal. No English language channels on the TV. Very Turkish, which is fine for Turks. The sink had a chipped hole in it....

Close to Gulhane park or serciki, walkable to Eminonou. Good amenities, reasonable price family owned business. Rooms are basic and little bit noisy neighborhood (too many people walking all the time rolling their bags as well music on street till late night)

We arrived at this hotel with absolutely no expectations. It was a last minute reservation and we just picked any basic hotel from which we can walk to most sights in Sultanahmet area. We made the reservation the day before our arrival and within minutes the hotel contacted us by email to ask if we had any specific requests. A...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
