Very nice little hotel, staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are decorated in old Ottoman style but modern and comfortable. We very upgraded to the Kings suite at the top floor, a wonderful room with a bath and windows in 3 directions. Street is safe and silent, no traffic. The littel wine- and coffeabar around the corner is wonderful.

A very delightful stay at the hotel. The noise is not much of an issue, I got the basement hotel for single person. Breakfast between 8-10am, it's okay. How to get there from ataturk in low cost? Get the Metro train from the ataturk Airport station, it picks up from the airport itself, get off at Zetenburo station and take...

It was great to live in old Istanbul and enjoy modern facilities; made possible by Sultan Tughra Hotel. Hospitality was fantastic. Mr Mert, manager was very helpful. Will love to go there again and again.

I stayed a total of 5 days in this hotel, 4 at the beginning of my trip, and 1 night at the end. Staff is very friendly, got a basement room when I checked in, which indeed as people say can get a little noisy, but it's not as exaggerated as people have put it. The rooms itself are beautifully...

We checked-in very last but the reception was very welcoming. The room was small but beautiful and quaintly decorated. It is very conveniently located close to the Sultanahmet square. The breakfast is not worth mentioning though.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel was quite quiet so we were upgraded twice which was really nice! The hotel is really nicely decorated in traditional ottoman design and the beds were comfy. The rooms we stayed in had good showers and baths with jacuzzi style jets. The main draw of this hotel is its amazing location, just...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
