Peradays is a fantastic hotel in the heart of Istanbul. We had a super room with loads of character. Our hosts Murat, Borat and Murat were wonderful. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The room was super, the breakfasts amazing and the hosts warm and helpful.

This hotel is awesome. We stayed for 3 nights in August and it was definitely the highlight of our trip. The room was lovely. Big and comfortable with a lovely sitting area. The owners are lovely and so helpful. Making great suggestions for restaurants and places to go. But the breakfast was the best bit. Lovely fresh Turkish breakfast with...

I wanted to cry when I left Peradays because the thought of not seeing Murat, Bora & Murat again is too much to bear. The are the most lovely hosts with fantastic advice for your day out, always ready to chat and offer a drink and interesting perspectives on the fascinating city of Istanbul. The rooms are contemporary & quirky,...

We were hosted by Murat, Borat and Murat for 4 nights and could not have chosen better. Close to Taksim and Galata but away from the hustle and bustle we loved Peradays and would highly recommend it. Our hosts gave us plenty of good advice, help and assistance even waking at 4am to make sure we caught a taxi safely....

Murat, Murat and Borat were delightful hosts: charming, friendly and incredibly helpful. I was staying with my son and we both felt as if were welcome guests in someone's home. Breakfasts were amazing with a range of freshly made dishes everyday. Highly recommended!

We stayed there for 3 nights and it was the highlight for our Istanbul stay. Murat is a very kind host with a lot of stories to share. Breakfast is of very high quality and the chef would make different hot dishes everyday. The self-baked carrot cinnamon cake is very tasty, goes perfectly well with the home-made Turkish coffee. :)

We had the nicest experience in this hotel. The owners are so engaged and caring that it's hard to describe this as a hotel. For example, when I wanted to break larger bills, they simply loaned me some smaller bills to use. They gave us great travel advice. The car pick-up service at the airport was also great. The rooms...

This was my first stay, but my wife had stayed here 3 years ago and insisted we return. She was right. It was like coming home. The owners are personally involved in managing the hotel and remembered my wife well. Their personalities infuse the hotel with their friendly and hospitable spirit. The hotel is perfect base for a sightseeing trip...

I can only subscribe to the superlatives written here insofar. The hotel is pleasant and cozy, the location superb, close to Istiklal ant still quiet, but most than all the hospitality of Murat, Murat and Bora. We felt we really were among intimate friends. Their made all efforts to make our stay enjoyable. I want to thank them from here...

Our favorite place to stay in Istanbul and Turkey (and lots of other places, too!). The Marat, Bora, Marat team couldn't have been nicer or more helpful..they made some excellent business referrals for us. Spacious rooms, interesting architectural elements, fab breakfast, and so much personalized interest and service. We visited twice and would go back again in a heartbeat. Interesting...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
