I visited Eternity Hotel for two nights at the beginning of October 2016. It was my fourth visit in less than a year and I had planned to come back soon. Before leaving I accidentaly knocked a glass lamp which broke. I reported it to the front desk immediately. They said they would let me know by the end of...

I've spent one night at this hotel. I haven't tried any food, but from what I've seen, the hotel is very clean, with excellent facilities. In my room I had all the necessary things like ironing board, iron, kettle. The room and bathrooms designs are very modern and pleasing to the eye. The receptionist was very polite and helpful, giving...

The hotel is very conveniently located, just a stroll away from Hagia Sophia; the room is clean with a view to the Bosporus, the staff was exceptionally friendly and the breakfast delicious - it is highly recommendable!!

Very modern and nicely done but somewhat sterile, could have been anywhere apart from the view from our balcony. Fantastic location though. Staff pleasant but I think we were spoilt at the other two hotels we’d stayed at in Turkey. Breakfast a little disappointing. Generally OK but not sure why it has such high rates.

Location is perfect, within walking distance from the main attractions. Very modern small boutique hotel with all amenities (except an elevator- but there are only 3 floors), good taste and care for the comfort of the guests. The rooms have everything you need from a robe to slippers, toiletries, a fridge with drinks and snacks, coffee and tea with an...

We stayed in 3 hotels while in turkey and the other two far surpassed this one - the rooms are nice and most of the staff are ok but it feels like a small corporate hotel rather than a boutique one. When we arrived at the other boutique hotel in Istanbul, we were met with a friendly smile, a glass...

Stylish rooms. Comfortable beds. Amazing views. Delicious breakfasts. And a wonderfully attentive and helpful staff. Everyone was great, but Natalie was especially wonderful. Yes the neighborhood can be a bit loud at times, and yes the walls aren't as thick as the Four Seasons, but all in all, Eternity is an extraordinary value.

I choose Eternity because of the reviews on the location, the modern interieur and the breakfast. Neither of those disappointed and further more the staff - especially Natalie, was very helpfull, friendly and open. The hotel is just across from a moske and a taxistand, so there is naturally a bit of noise from the street. Coming from Copenhagen I...

Great breakfast, good location very near to the attractions in sultanahmet and the taxi stand (just opposite), extremely helpful staff. Since this is an old renovated building so no elevators, people who have trouble climbing the stairs should go for rooms on the lower floors (will have to forego sea views).

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable and spacious room. A bit too noisy at times though, both from outside and next door. Walls of rooms don't appear to be sound proofed. For us the location more than made up for this as it is right by the Topkapi Palace, and great bars.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
