We stayed on the first floor room 3. The room is a good size with a separate bathroom and bedroom. The room has dated from the pictures shown on the website, however, they were clean and the lady on reception was very helpful. The reception area smells of cigarette smoke and unfortunately this smell carries up the winding staircase and... More

So this apartment does not have an elevator. Not really cool when you have a baby! And our apartment was 3 floors up! I was a bit disappointed with the apartment as it didn't look as good as the pictures on the website. We arrived on a Thursday about 2 and booked 3 nights. By Saturday afternoon, our apartment was... I had nice experience with Chef apartments. Everything was very good and well planned. The furniture, internet service, water supply, bathroom and kitchen quality. The price was also quite good. The management staff was also friendly, collaborative and helpful. I strongly recommend everybody to stay in this apartment. I hope I have a chance again to come there in my... More

Other than not having our room ready when we arrived, no water, no internet, no English, and no customer service, the place was fine... if you like over-paying for small places to stay. Definitely don't take their transfer from the airport, if you don't want to take public transport for 10 TL per person, there are cab's which will charge... More

We were very disappointed with the entire experience. First of the all, the apartment we’ve rented was advertised as a penthouse. But when we arrived it looked more like a converted attic with no proper room separation. The furniture looked completely different to the pictures they advertised. And the bathroom had a really bad smell. They have offered an airport... More

It was a nice experience staying at Chef aparts, Ozkan and Sarkan are too lovely people, never thought I would be treated like sultan but I did, great service, nice location, and lovely people, that's all what tourists want when they're not at home, they just need a place called home. Good job and keep up the good work.

Staying in Karakoy

Neighbourhood Profile
Karakoy
Sitting pretty with an age-old air about it, Karakoy is situated on the European side of the Bosphorus at the mouth of the Golden Horn. Perhaps the city’s most historically significant area, it’s currently one of the most happening parts of town as well. Here street vendors and alfresco fish restaurants line the banks of the Horn where the views of major attractions across the water rival Karakoy’s own key attractions, such as the iconic 14th century Galata Tower and the Museum of Modern Art. A major hub for local and international waterborne traffic, Istanbul’s commercial and maritime heritage remains as relevant and evident as ever in Karakoy. Commuter ferries mingle with luxury cruise liners at its busy port, ensuring a continuously cosmopolitan flow of people..
