We booked the penthouse suite that was described as "50 square meter room with separate living area, big beds, balcony overlooking the sea, fridge, coffeemaker, etc....

Their plan is for you to book here and then they'll move you to their grotty "sister" hotel 2 minutes away - all the while they're doing you a great favour, but really their ripping you off to get maximum bookings across the two establishments! Don't believe the photos (I suspect they are a decade out of date), we booked...

Hotel radiating the Charm of previous times long past, but staff ist friendly and helpful. Amenities are not completely stuffed and rooms are spacious but rather dark. Be aware to avoid Room 402, it is an awfully small place, holes to the open, not clean... one bed fills the room and no other spaces for anything like luggage etc. Booked...

This hotel is offering substandard accommodation and operating scams . When our party of 6 arrived we were told that our rooms were not available but that they had rooms available in their other hotel round the corner. Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
