This is our second stay in Sevila within last 6 months. Is not the most luxurious hotel at the neighborhood, but definitely one with warmest and most welcoming attitude. Not only every request (transfer, sightseeing recommendations, etc) was executed quickly and friendly, but they were also ready to walk an extra mile for us. The terrace is very nice place...

It is located in a fantastic area very near to the blue mosque and less than 200 meter to the sultan Ahmed tram station. The rooms are too small and the bathrooms in a terrible condition. It needs several improvements

I'll start with disadvantages. Latter are poor cleanliness (however, in our room garbage basket was emptied and floor washed every day), poor soundproofing and small room and shower/toilet. But there are far too much advantages: 1) Very friendly staff. Prompt assistance and friendly advices. We were quickly given room on check in as well as checked out without any delay....

This is a great budget hotel in the heart of Sultanamet. The rooms are very small and basic but the view frome the roof top terrace, where you help your self to breakfast and coffee makes up for it. The staff are very helpful and friendly. All the amazing sights are within easy walking distance and the views at night...

The best thing about this hotel by far is the location. Istanbul's main attractions, as well as the Tram, are mere steps from your door. The facilities themselves are adequate. 'Budget' room was essentially a closet in the basement with two beds and a toilet IN the shower. Rooftop views from the terrace were amazing. Front desk staff were friendly...

Small hotel at budget price in the middle of Istanbul. Good location, close to main attractions of Sultanahmet as well as to the tram. Friendly staff serves modest breakfast at the roof terrace with great view. The only disappointment was tiny room we got. Although it was fairy clean, it was located in the basement, and the staff claimed that...

Staff are very good. Veryy small rooms and not very clean. Dirty floors :( Breakfast was ok (like most turkish breakfasts), however the boiled water was a little brown (they do have clean hot water though). Not the cleanest place.. Worst place we stayed in during our 2 week trip in Turkey.

The hotel is close to the Blue Mosque, and 1 min walk away from the Tram stations. The staff is nice and helpful. My wife's flight was delayed till 2am. Onder helped to arrange airport pickup, which is a big plus for a girl enters into a new country. Also, Olgo helped us to call Safra Busline to make a...

The location is all there is to it. Plus the friendly guys at reception who love to joke and have some fun, something you won't find in the more formal receptions of the more expensive hotels of sultanahmed. Negative, everything else, it isn't clean! I didn't dare to enter the bathroom on bare feet. I spread my towels on the...

Booked it for 1 night. From outside, we didn't know how it will looks like. The hotel was pretty descent. The room might be small or tight to some people, but because of us were small, so we did not feel much of anything. We booked 2 rooms. 1 of it was ok but the other room, the doorknob of...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
