We were here in double room for 3 days on January, 2016. The room was big enough, with clean towels and bedsheets; the bathroom was very nice, with new furniture. The staff were friendly and ready to help. Breakfast buffet was awesome - you can eat as much as you want and there were a big variety of food :)... More

We stayed there 1 week and it was absolutely nice. It is located just 5 minutes away from the Sultanahmet centre by walking. And it is 3 minutes away from train station and the same for marmaray which is use to go to asian side as üsküdar etc. Hotel was clean. Housekeeping was cleaning everyday. There were people 24 hrs... I was inclined to give this place 4 stars for its central location (I had a partially obstructed view of Galata Tower from my room), relatively commodious rooms, and good breakfast buffet. HOWEVER...payment greatly soured our experience. We'd booked this room for our last night in Istanbul, and since we were flying out the following morning, I asked the receptionist... More

The staff were very helpful and friendly once you asked them something. Breakfast was excellent! Rooms are not luxurious but considering the price spacious and in ok condition. Location is good, walking distance from main attractions.

The man who works the front desk during the day was consistently rude every time we interacted with him. I'm surprised he works in the service industry. When we arrived, he couldn't find our reservation and said we could stay because he couldn't kick us out. The staff watches you while you eat breakfast which is kind of disconcerting. They... More

The hotel has an excellent location, and was the cheapest in the area when we were comparing prices. The room was large enough and the hotel has a lift (although a very small one). The breakfast selection was not as good as similar hotels in Istanbul. The staff was helpful when we needed them. The wifi connection in our room... More

We found the hotel to be in good condition and the rooms were quite clean. It is well located off one of the main streets right between the Topkapi Palace and the spice bazaar next to the "New Mosque". Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
