I stayed in the double bed room with friends. Was large and clean. Also the dorm is good. Bit crammed but that's what you pay for. Showers also get water everywhere. Staff are helpful and it's very close to everything.

i stayed here in Set 2010 when we went to Istanbul for a U2 concert. it is what it is. Its a hostel, so dont expect a Hilton. But as hostel standards go, i was happy with the place and most importantly the location. Its very central, all major central sights are within walking distance and theres a row of...

The hostel is not bad. It's just a small place, multilevel floor with no elevator, just stair. The price is not expensive, suitable with what you get. Anyway, for the dormitory, is in the base floor under the stair, there no sunlight over there just few lamp, but it has few bathroom and toilets so don't worry you won't queuing...

Firstly, the staff here were very helpful and friendly :) Breakfast was basic but for the price a free breakfast was great!! We stayed in the dorm, no towels or flat sheets provided just a warm blanket.. There was always a battle for the air con - some wanted it on, others off. I would recommend asking the staff if...

Eurasia was a bit of a challenge to find in the dark because I had only a basic map. Even the restaurant next door didn't know where it was but it was mainly because the name is pronounced differently in Turkish. When I got there, the staff were friendly and helpful and seemed organised. The dorm room was small but...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
