Arrived no room ready, despite having booked deluxe double were given an economy twin, with two single beds of different heights pushed together, Fridge didn't work had to complain 3 times before this was changed, room was cleaned only spasmodically, staff seemed only to be interested in ripping guests off. Really was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in...

This hotel has a perfect location, not far from touristic attractions. In the same street of the hotel you have several sisha, bar, restaurants with good quality and nice personnel. The rooms are nog really big, but it suits enough for Istanbul.

Had 5 nights in heart of Old City. Great location in budget hotel. View of ocean on 5 and 6 levels. Helpful staff and can book many tours through front desk. The easy stroll to waterfront or up to Sultanhamet district. Tram is also close. Turkey was fun. Food and restaurants the best. Helpful and feelingly staff.

On the credit side: the location. On the debit side: small and awkward, though clean, rooms; indifferent service; unreliable plumbing. The staircase -- which you have to use to get to the breakfast room, or if you have a sixth-floor room--is an accident waiting to happen.

Close to finish and fantastic location for many tourist attractions; all walking distance. Clean but very small room, air condition, easy breakfast included, friendly staff. Good bus, train and taxi link. Apx. 25 km from airport, 25 minutes.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
