Located just 2 blocks away from the Blue mosque & Aya Sophia, the hotel is a wonderful place to stay at the heart of Istanbul at reasonable price. Although it doesn't have elevator (and there is really steep stairs), the room has Turkish designs and the relaxing "Turtle cafe/restaurant" on the 1st floor make this place quite attractive. The receptionist...

Around the corner from the blue mosque. The staff are friendly. The food is great. The view from the roof top restaurant is serene. A friend insisted that I stay here. This is my first trip to Istanbul. I will definitely come back.

the hotel has a VERY good location. The back view from the room is to the back side of the other hotel. Breakfast and WiFi is very poor. The room is clean and towers were changed in daily bases. Receptionist is nice and willing to help to find locations or give advises.

We had children's with us, and don't help us with our luggage also. Steep stairs. No elevator huh We booked other hotel from booking....

It began with us being sent over to another hotel for the first night!!! wow! talk about a deal being a deal! this seemed to be a regular feature or scam as we'd call it in other parts of the world as we heard people fighting about it all through our trip here. Then when we were called back we...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
