Excellent value (double room for single use, 3 nights, 160 euros). Delicious free breakfast in a very beautiful setting. Efficient air-conditioning (a must during the hot hot summer months). Modern and clean hotel throughout. Free bottled water. Fast and free wifi. Caring and helpful staff. Comfortable room, sparkling bathroom with free products. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hotel Lino. Suzan at the front desk was immensely helpful to us but giving us advice of things to do and helping us make reservations for our Turkish Bath and for the Hodga Pasha Cultural center. Great breakfast. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The location was excellent. The only down side was...

Hotellino is a modern boutique hotel featuring an amazing breakfast with Turkish coffee and tea, juices, eggs both hard-boiled and scrambled, halvah, fruit, cheese, fantastically fresh cucumbers, tomatoes and olives, toast and traditional pastries, muesli, delicious yogurt with all the trimmings -- dried fruit, nuts, honey on the comb. Breakfast is served 7:30-10:30 am so never crowded. The lobby is...

We have recently arrived back to Sydney after a wonderful stay in Turkey and Iran. We stayed at Hotellino/ Istanbul at the beginning and end of our stay in Turkey and were more than pleased with the choice we made. The rooms were modern and clean, not huge but bright and airy. All that we needed for a city visit....

Great staff and service, central location, could not fault anything. Hotel owner joined us at breakfast and gave us some top recommendations for destination bars and quality restaurants. Lovely stay to end 5 week Europe holiday.

Great hotel in a great location! Walking distance to most of the major attractions in the old city, yet in a quiet little corner. All of the hotel staff - especially Mehmet and Suzan - were extremely helpful, had lots of suggestions on restaurants in the area, and were overall just great!

We stayed two nights at Hotellino on our first visit to Istanbul. We found the hotel to be clean, the staff to be very informal, friendly, and helpful. Hotellino is as well located as the management claims. The breakfast was generous and good. It is an easy walk to the obligatory sights: Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Sullieman Mosque, Basilica Cistern,...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
